How our Christmas buffet works
You arrive, hang up your coats and take a seat at a set table. The Christmas buffet is laid out and you help yourselves at your own pace, as many rounds as you like. We keep it classic Swedish, and mulled wine and rice pudding are included. Every Christmas dinner also comes with a quiz, giving your group something fun to do together during the evening.
We serve Christmas dinner from November 20 to December 20, Wednesday to Saturday. Other dates can be arranged on request. The first sitting is 16:30–19:00 (2.5 hours) and the second is 19:30–23:00 (3.5 hours) – the later one for those who want to linger longer.
The buffet costs SEK 695 per person including VAT. If you'd prefer table service, a three-course Christmas plate is available for SEK 795 per person. Any drinks beyond the mulled wine can be ordered on the night or in advance.
Companies and organisations book from 30 people. Private groups are also welcome and can book from 10 people on request.

Why you should book your Christmas buffet with us
- Two sittings, Wednesday to Saturday. Julbord Göteborg November 20–December 20. Choose 16:30–19:00 for an early dinner, or 19:30–23:00 if you want to make a full evening of it. Other dates available on request.
- SEK 695 including mulled wine, rice pudding and quiz. Classic Christmas buffet for SEK 695 per person including VAT. The quiz is always included, and if you'd prefer table service, a three-course Christmas plate is available for SEK 795.
- Space for up to 250 guests. The Pavilion seats 80 with table service as its own chambre séparée, and the main restaurant area seats 150. At most, we can host 250 guests in a single sitting.
- 121 rooms in the same building. Stay the night after Christmas dinner instead of chasing a taxi. We put together package prices including dinner, parking and accommodation – parking costs SEK 199 per night for hotel guests.
- Skidome and activities right next door. Start with biathlon (SEK 849/person) or cross-country skiing technique and team building (SEK 759/person), with skis and boots for SEK 159. Beach volleyball and shuffleboard are also available in the building.
- 12 minutes to the city centre. Three tram lines stop a five-minute walk away. Coaches can drop off at the entrance, street parking outside costs SEK 10/hour between 8am and 10pm, and our car park has a security gate and CCTV.
Corporate Christmas dinners and larger groups
Julbord Göteborg is primarily aimed at companies and organisations, with a minimum booking of 30 people. When the whole workplace is getting together, Kviberg works well precisely because the space is there: the Pavilion seats 80 guests with table service as its own chambre séparée, the main restaurant area seats 150, and we can host up to 250 people in a single sitting.
We can also put together packages combining a conference, Christmas dinner and overnight stay. Larger corporate groups receive a tailored quote, so you can see the full evening and the full cost in one proposal.
The deposit is 5% of the quote. Cancellations, rebookings and changes to guest numbers must be made no later than two weeks before your visit. You'll have a single point of contact who coordinates timings, seating, dietary requirements and rooms, so no one in the group has to email five different people.
Christmas Buffet at Kviberg Park
A Julbord Göteborg should be easy to get to, enjoyable to linger over and simple to book. At Kviberg Park Hotel & Conference, we bring together a restaurant, event spaces and a hotel at one address in Kviberg. We lay on a classic Christmas buffet from November 20 to December 20, always with mulled wine, rice pudding and a quiz – and you can eat, enjoy an activity in the arena and stay the night without moving an inch.
Food and drink at the Christmas buffet
We lay on a classic Swedish Christmas buffet, prepared in our own kitchen. The cold dishes come first, followed by the hot ones, and you help yourselves at your own pace throughout the sitting.
Mulled wine and rice pudding are included in the price. Other drinks – beer, wine, schnapps and non-alcoholic options – can be ordered at the table or in advance. Vegetarian and vegan options are always available on the buffet, and if anyone in your group has an allergy or other dietary requirement, our kitchen will take care of it as long as you let us know when you book.
If you'd rather not get up, the buffet can be swapped for a three-course Christmas plate with table service for SEK 795 per person. For those staying overnight, breakfast the next morning is included.
Stay overnight after the Christmas buffet
No one needs to keep an eye on the last tram. The hotel has 121 rooms and 355 beds in the same building as the restaurant, so the journey from Christmas dinner to bed is just a staircase or a corridor.

Parking for hotel guests costs SEK 199 per night, and if you have a company car with valuables inside, we recommend our car park with its security gate and CCTV.

Combine the Christmas dinner with an activity
The Christmas dinner is often better when the group has done something together first. Kviberg Park is located in the Nordic region's largest multi-sport arena, so activities are already on site – our recommendation is to start in Skidome and finish with the Christmas dinner.
Choose biathlon for SEK 849 per person, or ski technique and team building for SEK 759 per person: the session begins with a joint warm-up on skis and a walkthrough of technique, balance and weight distribution, then continues with cross-country skiing gears and exercises on both uphill and downhill slopes. Skis and boots can be rented for SEK 159 per person.
If you'd rather stay indoors on flat ground, beach volleyball is available, and shuffleboard for those who prefer not to hit over a net. Everything is put together based on what you find most fun – and the quiz is always included once you've taken your seats at the Christmas dinner.

Our car park is available subject to availability – if you have a company car with valuables inside, we recommend the garage, which has a security gate and camera surveillance. The City of Gothenburg's parking outside the restaurant costs SEK 10/hour from 08:00–22:00 and SEK 2/hour at other times. For hotel guests, parking costs SEK 199 per night.
